NCI developed practical solutions to re-establish the hydraulic grade line of the exposed pipe, restore the energy grade line of the stream and secure the sanitary sewer. The limits of the proposed study began at the existing 54” storm sewer outletting into the ravine and concluded at Manhole No. 16. Phase 1 resulted in a preliminary engineering report that identified feasible alternatives. Also included were estimated costs that could be utilized to mitigate the damage and implement erosion control measures that would protect the sanitary sewer and associated appurtenances. Phase 2 resulted in the development of detailed construction plans and specifications related to the chosen preferred alternative.
