NCI was responsible for survey, design, and preparation of plans for the replacement of the deficient steel truss bridge on TR-33 and the deficient slab bridge on CR-4 in Medina County, along with reconstruction of the approaches. This project was part of ODOT’s Ohio Bridge Partnership Program, and utilized the design-build delivery process. The new bridge on TR-33 over Mallet Creek is a composite 21” box beam structure with a span of 57’-0”. The new structure on CR-4 over Gray’s Creek is a reinforced concrete 3-sided flat topped culvert with a span of 20’-0” and a rise of 7’-0’.
