NCI was responsible for the survey, design, and plan preparation for the rehabilitation of the bridge and approach roadway of Bancroft Street as it crosses over I-475 in Toledo, Ohio. The existing bridge had a non-composite deck with a longitudinal joint down the center of its raised median. The bridge rehabilitation design included adding shear studs to the existing rolled steel beams and placing a new composite deck with no joints. A bridge load rating analysis was prepared which confirmed the rehabilitated superstructure was adequate for HL-93 loading.
