This project involved the replacement of the Keowee Street Bridge (SFN 5760550) over the Great Miami River in Dayton, Ohio. As a subconsultant, NCI was responsible for topographic surveying and right-of-way plan development. The existing bridge was surveyed including shots along each arch at the endpoints, arch middle quarters and at the high point. Channel sections, utilizing a HydroLite-TM for hydrographic survey, were provided at each face of the structure and along the upstream and downstream channels at 300’ from the existing bridge. A thorough research and understanding of navigable waterway rights was critical to the development of the property resolution and ownerships.
