This project involved the reconstruction of 3.73 miles of I-75 in Monroe County, Michigan. As a subconsultant, NCI was responsible for all temporary and permanent drainage related designs, including hydrology and hydraulic studies for proposed ditches, storm sewer system, twenty eight (28) median culverts and six (6) out of eight (8) major waterway crossings within project limits; two of them were triple-5’x5′ and twin-8’x8′ box culverts respectively. HY-8 and HEC RAS were used for hydraulic studies and six (6) hydrology/hydraulic reports were prepared. NCI was also responsible for MDEQ permit applications.
